The difference is underneath: one family record feeds every form, so nobody enters the same thing twice and your school stops collecting copies of sensitive documents. A tick means the feature is included. marks features that are included but arrive switched off, so a school that does not run a lunch program never sees lunch. Your account admin can switch any feature in the catalogue on or off at any time; family records and the platform items cannot be switched off.

Your school, your switches.
A school of 90 and a school of 900 do not need the same software. Your account admin turns each feature on or off. Anything off vanishes from every menu for staff, teachers, and families. Turn it on later and nothing is lost.
